Working with us

What do I actually say to a family?

"There is a memorial page we can arrange, with the order of service designed and included, ready to print. It is £225, it goes on your bill with everything else, and the family build it themselves from their own photographs." That is the whole of it. If they ask, the order of service is included but optional: a family who does not want one simply leaves it out, and the price is the same.

If they want to see one first, send them to example-person.eternallyloved.co.uk.

A family wants more than four pages. Can they have it?

Yes. They either pick one of five ready-made layouts, from a single A6 card to eight pages, or build their own and choose 4, 8, 12 or 16 pages. Either way the design is free and included, and either way you get print-ready files for the printer you already use.

What does it cost me?

Nothing up front. No subscription, no set-up fee, no minimum, and nothing bought in advance. You pay us only for pages actually made, at the trade price in your partner terms, after the family has paid you.

How do I start a page for a family?

From your portal, in a moment. You give the name and the family's email address, and they get their own private link. The page is theirs from that first moment: you have handed it to them, not kept it.

How am I paid, and when?

At the end of each month your portal shows a statement of the pages made that month at the trade price, and that statement is our invoice to you. There is never a question about what is owed, because it is a list you can read.

My statement shows nothing. Is something wrong?

Almost certainly not: a statement shows the pages made in that month, so it is empty until a family has gone ahead. A page started and not yet paid for does not appear. If a family has paid and you still cannot see it, write to partners@eternallyloved.co.uk and we will look the same working day.

Codes, prices and celebrants

Does my code change what the family pays?

No. Through a funeral director the page is £225, the same as coming to us directly, and it goes on your bill. Your code tells us the family came through you; it is not a discount, and nothing is added for your help either.

A celebrant's code is different: it takes £10 off, so the family pays £215 and pays us directly.

We have several branches. Does each get its own link?

Yes, if you want them. Each branch gets its own link and its own code: a branch link shows that branch's families and nobody else's, and a page started from it is attributed to that branch. The firm's link shows every branch, with a column and a filter, and asks which branch a page is for when you start one, so attribution is never lost.

Billing does not change. One statement and one invoice for the firm each month, with each branch's pages and subtotal listed inside it. A firm with one office never sees any of this: same link, same code, nothing new.

I am a celebrant, not a firm. What do I do?

Give the family your code when you mention us, and that is the whole of your part. They deal with us directly, the code takes £10 off, and for every page that goes ahead on your introduction we pay you a referral fee, monthly against a statement. You never need a portal and you never touch the page.

The family's page

Can I see or change a family's page?

You can see where each page you have arranged has got to, and how many replies and messages are waiting. You cannot change the page and you cannot read the guest list. That is deliberate: the page belongs to the family, and they can see that you hold access and end it whenever they want.

A family has lost their link. Can I send another?

Yes, from your portal, and the old link stops working when the new one is made. If you cannot get to the portal, write to partners@eternallyloved.co.uk and we will send one.

Does my firm's name go on it?

Yes, quietly. The page carries an "arranged by" line with your name, and your logo and a link to your website if you give us them. The printed order of service carries the same line with your name on it, without the logo, since a printed page has nothing to click. Never louder than the person the page is for.

Whose contract is it, mine or the family's?

The family's contract is with us, whichever way they came. When you take their order you do it as our agent at our published price. If anything goes wrong with a page, it is ours to put right, not yours to carry.

Anything else, ask.

Write to partners@eternallyloved.co.uk with the name of your firm and we reply the same working day. The full partner terms are one short document and we will send them on request.
