In the editor you choose a palette, a motif and a strength, and the page changes as you try them. Eighteen palettes, from classic cream and gold to harbour blue and blossom pink; forty-three small motifs, such as a sailing boat, a garden, a dog or a cricket bat, chosen to suit the person. Three strengths: subtle, a quiet mark in the corner; present, woven through the page; immersive, the page filled with its scene. Change any of them at any time, before or after the page is live; the order of service follows.
The page is arranged through the firm, on the arrangement form, with one bill. Your director starts the page from their portal and hands you your own link, and the firm's name sits quietly on the page. The page is yours from the first moment: you build it and change it yourself, and you can end the firm's access whenever you want to, as step 1 describes. A celebrant gives you a code. Enter it when you start your page and it takes £10 off the price. That is the whole of their part: they never touch the page itself, and everything else follows the same eight steps.
Replies build into a private guest list only you can see, counted separately for the service and for afterwards: who is coming to which, how many in their party, and anything they need, such as a dietary requirement or a wheelchair space, shown against the wake numbers so the caterer's count is right. You can download it whenever you need it.
The order of service comes with every page as print-ready files, matched to the page's own look. It is included in the £225 at no extra cost, and it is optional: leave it out and nothing else changes.
There are two ways to make one. Set the running order and choose one of five ready-made layouts, from a single A6 card to eight pages; or build your own, adding what you want in the order you want it, in 4, 8, 12 or 16 pages. Or upload one you already have, and the page carries that instead. It is described in full on the order of service page. Your funeral director's printer, or any printer you choose, produces the copies.
Anyone with the address can leave a message. Nothing goes up until you have agreed to it.
The page knows the day. If the service is being streamed, the joining details appear the evening before, so people can test them in good time. As the funeral starts, the order of service appears on the page, ours or your own PDF, for anyone following from home. Replies close the day after, and the page turns to remembering: you can write a short account of the day in place of the directions, the order of service stays, and the message wall stays open. If you have added the recording of the service, it plays here, for anyone who could not be there to watch in their own time. The page stays exactly where it was, at the same address.
