Some people call it a memorial website, a tribute page, or an in loving memory page. It is all the same thing: one page for the person who has died, with everything about the day on it.
The memorial page
A page at its own address, their-name.eternallyloved.co.uk, that does the hard work of the day for you:
- The order of the day, laid out gently and clearly
- Interactive maps and satnav postcodes for every venue
- A photo gallery from the family's own albums
- Replies built in: a private guest list with separate counts for the service and the wake, never public
- Donations to the family's chosen charity, in lieu of flowers
- Made for phones: most guests arrive from a shared link
Details still being finalised? The page says so, and you change it the moment they are confirmed. Guests can leave a message for the family and send photographs of their own, each shown only once the family approves it. Live streaming of the service is not something we do: where it is offered it comes from the crematorium, through its own supplier, and your funeral director will tell you whether it is available and send you the joining details. Put them on the page and everyone has them in one place, including anyone watching from abroad, the evening before rather than on the morning. The order of service appears on the page as the funeral starts. After the day the page turns quietly to remembering, keeps the order of service, and the recording of the service can live there too.

Not everyone can be in the room. For the people who were abroad, unwell, at work or too young on the day, the recording of the service can play on the page itself, to watch afterwards in their own time, as many times as they need, and for those who were there to see it again. You decide who has the link. A crematorium's own link stops working after a set period, commonly a month and sometimes as little as a week; this one does not expire. The recording is made by the crematorium's own supplier rather than by us, and your funeral director orders it for you; it usually arrives some days after the funeral. When it comes it goes on the page from the editor, one recording of up to 4 GB, which is a full service at good quality. It does not have to be you who does that, or be done on a phone: anybody you have given your link to can upload it from a computer, whenever the file arrives. £95, then £15 a year after the first year to keep it there.
Every page and its order of service come from a library of eighteen colour schemes, which we call palettes, and forty-three small illustrations, called motifs: a sailing boat, a garden, a dog, a cricket bat, chosen to suit the person. Each motif can sit at three strengths, from a quiet mark in the corner to a page filled with the scene. The family chooses in the editor, with the page changing in front of them, and none of it has to be decided tonight. Four gentle steps
Start with a name
Their name, your name and your email address are all it takes. We send your own private link to that address and it is how you get back in. If it ever stops working, go to your page and ask for a fresh way in with the same email address: your page cannot be locked away from you. No accounts, no apps, works on any phone.
Build it on the page
Tap any words to change them, add your photographs, set the details of the day. Every change saves on its own, and the order of service follows the page.
Choose the look
Eighteen palettes, forty-three motifs, three strengths, chosen to suit the person. Nothing is fixed until you are happy with it, and nothing is printed until you say.
Go live when you choose
Pay when you are ready, and the page is live at its own address for the people you share it with. That payment covers the first year of everything, the order of service included; after the first year, keeping the page up is £15 a year. Changes keep working right up to the day and long after it.

Every price includes VAT. It is £225 whether you come to us directly or through your funeral director, and £215 if a celebrant gave you a code. For families
Most families come to us through their funeral director, but you are very welcome to come to us directly.
You won't need anything technical. Start with their name, your name and your email, then build the page yourself by tapping the words you want to change and adding the photographs you would like people to see, at your own pace. Dates and times can follow later; the page carries "to be confirmed" until you know.
Change anything, at any time, and see it live within a couple of seconds. If you would rather someone did it with you, write to us.

Privacy, as standard
Memorial pages are not listed on search engines unless a family chooses otherwise, and that choice is off unless they turn it on. We refuse the AI companies' crawlers by name either way. Pages are shared only by the family, only with the people they choose.
Replies are seen only by the family and anyone they choose to give access to, such as their funeral director. Photographs and stories are used only for the page the family asked for, and stay in the family's hands: they can hide or remove anything, and download a complete copy of the page at any time.

The funeral details aren't confirmed yet: is it too early?
No. Most families share the page before everything is settled. It shows "to be confirmed" where a detail is missing, and you change it in a moment when details firm up. Guests simply check back at the same address.
How quickly can the page be ready?
As soon as you have built it. The page is yours to make, at your own pace, and it goes live the moment you choose to go ahead. Every change after that shows within a couple of seconds.
How long does the page stay up?
The first year of everything working is in the price. After that the page stays up for £15 a year, and a recording of the service is £95 to add and a further £15 a year to keep. If a family decides to stop, or a yearly fee goes unpaid, we tell them plainly, allow at least sixty days, and they can download a complete copy of the page before it comes down. The yearly fees can change no more than once a year, by no more than inflation (CPI) or 5 per cent, whichever is higher, with 30 days' notice by email. A family can end the page at any time and keep the complete copy. Many families keep it for years as a place of remembrance.
Can we make changes after it goes live?
Yes, yourself: tap the words on the page and change them. A confirmed time, an extra photograph, a change of venue, live within seconds, right up to the day and after it.
Can the page have its own web address?
Not a domain name of your own, no: we do not sell those. Every page has its own address under eternallyloved.co.uk, which is easy to share, easy to say down a telephone and easy to find again.
Who sees the replies?
Only the family and anyone they choose to give access to, such as their funeral director, behind a private link. Guests' replies are used for numbers on the day, the chapel and the caterer, and nothing else.
